Free Resource Giveaways for Disabled Families

We give away supplies, clothing, food, and other essentials to disabled families in Central Illinois. No cost. No strings attached.

Personal Care Items

Staples to help families put food on the table. Examples range from giant jars of pickles to large bags of rice to random candy.

Cleaning chemicals and supplies, - such as paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags.  

Incontinence supplies for children and adults, period hygiene products, daily essentials.

Items to support disability management such as feeding tube connectors, specialized equipment, etc. 

Health & Medical Products

** Due to the nature of our giveaways being supplied by donations, we have no way to know ahead of time what supplies we have until day of. **

Step Five

* Return Your Cart & Have A Great Day!

Spend 5 minutes transferring items to your vehicle (bring bags/boxes but leave in car please; we have a limited amount of boxes available first come first served). 

Step Four

 *Come Get What Your Family Needs.

Show up at your scheduled time, shop for the allotted 10 minutes to fill one of our carts with supplies. 

Step Three

* Sign Up for a Ticket.

Click the link, register, and you're all set. We do this to make sure we have enough supplies, volunteers, and ensure fairness.

Step Two

* Watch for Giveaway Announcements. About a week before each giveaway, we post details in the group & newsletter:      - Date, time, and location- How to register for a ticket - When tickets go live.

Step One

* Join Our Facebook Group and/or signup for our newsletter.

All food, beverage, grocery, and personal care products distributed by CU Able (the "Organization") are provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Organization makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the condition, quality, safety, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or completeness of any items distributed. 

**2. ALLERGEN AND DIETARY NOTICE**
The Organization handles, stores, and distributes foods that may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to wheat, soy, milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and shellfish. Cross-contamination may occur. The Organization does not guarantee that any item is free from allergens, expiration date variations, or mislabeling. Recipients assume full responsibility for inspecting all packaging, ingredient lists, and item conditions prior to consumption or use.

**3. ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND ASSUMPTION OF LIABILITY**
By accepting, handling, consuming, or utilizing any items provided by the Organization, you voluntarily choose to do so at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that the Organization, its board of directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and original food donors (the "Released Parties") hold NO RESPONSIBILITY or civil liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, illnesses, injuries, or adverse reactions resulting from the receipt, handling, preparation, consumption, or use of these items.

**4. GOOD SAMARITAN CHARITABLE PROTECTIONS**
This disclaimer is executed in compliance with the Federal Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act (42 U.S.C. § 1791) and the Illinois Good Samaritan Food Donor Act (745 ILCS 50/), which provide broad civil liability immunity to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations and donors who distribute apparently wholesome food in good faith for charitable purposes. Nothing in this disclaimer waives protections afforded under these acts.
