Our Community Giveaways Program helps build a more inclusive, disability-friendly CU area by removing financial barriers our community often faces for everyday products, and we are very grateful to be able to serve our neighbors in this fashion. Your assistance will help keep us going - allowing us to hopefully expand our services!
Volunteer with Us
Who: You!
What: Sort, Pack Donations. etc.
When: Most Fridays & Occasional Sundays.
Where: 4901 W. Windsor Rd. in Champaign.
Volunteers make our Community Giveaways possible, and we appreciate every single one of you. These roles are physical: lifting, squatting, bending, sorting boxes up to 50 lbs., and handling items that are potentially dirty. You will come into contact with cleaning chemicals and detergents = strong scents. Volunteers will receive a box to fill through their shift. Please volunteer only every other shift to make room for additional volunteers. We really appreciate you!
